Designed to maximize storage scalability and performance, the 14th generation Dell EMC PowerEdge R740xd is a 2U dual-socket platform that supports up to 24 NVMe drives and a total of 32 x 2.5” or 18 x 3.5” drives. It gives you extremely flexible storage options with the ability to mix SSD, HDD, and high performance NVMe drives to create the optimum data-tiered environment. Its automation and intelligent management help you improve productivity and easy integrations for VMware^® vSphere^®, Microsoft^® System Center and Nagios^®. With support for NVMe drives and NVIDIA GPUs, PowerEdge R740xd can deal with a wide range of workloads from machine learning to virtual desktops.
