Setup a POP3 / IMAP email account in Windows 8 Mail

Click on “Start” button.

Select “Mail” tile.

Type in your Microsoft account (such as personal Hotmail account).

After setup the Hotmail account, place the cursor at the RIGHT hand corner of the interface.

Click “Setting”.

Click “Accounts”.

Click “Add an account”.

Select “Other Account”.

Select “IMAP”.

Enter your email address and password and click “Connect”.You will need to enter the following information:

• Email address : Full email address
• Username : Type your name. This is the name of the sender in email messages that you send from this account.
• Password : Email account password

  Incoming Server: mail.yourdomain.com IMAP Port : 143 POP3 Port : 110 Outgoing Server: mail.yourdomain.com SMTP Port : 2525	Incoming Server: mail.yourdomain.com IMAP Port : 993 POP3 Port : 995 Outgoing Server: mail.yourdomain.com SMTP Port : 465

Check “Outgoing server requires authentication” and “Use the same username and password to send and receive email”.

Click “Connect”.
